Tomuri is ideal for southern climates. It requires little winter chilling to set fruit. Hardy to 10 -15 F. Fruit set is most successful when winter temperatures dip below 32F. The medium size fruit of this variety is well-regarded and it is reportedly a heavy bearer. The vines can tolerate part shade but prefer a sunny location where they can ramble up to 30 feet across either a substantial trellis, fence, or patio cover. Kiwi vines can be successfully grown in large containers. Harvest in late fall. Need well-drained soils and large volumes of water during the growing season. Kiwis are dioecious (male and female plants). Each bid for this item is for one plant. You will need a male and female for these kiwis to fruit
